Target Selection

Many VPC functions such as: Workplan, Workplan Notification , Document Notification (related to Check-in, Add, and moving files in Admin Setup), E-mail, E-mail Files, and Broadcast may require the user to select targets. The process in all cases is quite similar:

  1. Open target selection panel
  2. Select targets from list on right and click on Add, or double click. Available targets are generally as follows:
    • Users with proposal access
    • All users with access to that zone if the All Zone Users box is checked
    • Proposal groups (roll over group with mouse to see users in group)
    • PROPOSAL - all users with access to proposal (This target is only available to Admins)
    • ALL- all users with access to zone (This target is only available to Zone Super Admins)
    • SYSTEM - all users (This target is only available to System Admins)
  3. Use Ctrl key for multiple discontinuous selection and Shift key for multiple continuous selection
  4. If type first letter of target name, will jump to that point in list
  5. Select target(s) and click on Remove to remove from target list
  6. Click on X in top right corner of panel to accept target selections
