Intr@vation also offers a document management system consisting of both web-based client applet and corresponding server side components. The document management system maintains a document repository on the server and provides a client access applet which includes the following functionality:

• Client-side document listing in a hierarchical tree view
• Client-side document delivery and viewing using either native application or viewer applications
• Client-side document check-out, check-in, and transaction history
• Client-side full text and attribute search of the entire or part of the document repository
• Server-side project-based permission control allowing definitions of users and group and binding specific document permissions (view, review, edit, create) to either
• Server-side document management, restricting checkout of currently checked-out documents, version and release tracking
