Content Engine Module

The Virtual Sales Center's Content Engine Module is the driving force behind the production of customer-tailored sales content. By simply following the Content Engine's self-guided Dynamic Content Wizard(s), your sales force, Value Added Resellers, or even your customers can instantaneously produce a portfolio of uniquely tailored sales content such as proposals, ROI studies, and presentations.

The Content Wizard uses XML- based business logic to pull data information from numerous sources that can include:

  • Content components such as Word or Powerpoint documents managed within the Content Manager Module or other document repositories
  • Outputs generated by custom business modeling programs (e.g., pricing models)
  • Information from other Enterprise applications such as Customer Relationship Management & Sales Force Automation products, including Configuration Management systems

The Content Wizard's business logic reflects your company's business processes and sales and marketing environment, not Intravation's conception of what they should are or should be. The architecture is very flexible and adaptable to your needs.

The Content Engine enables the delivery of the resulting sales content via the Web, e-mail, FTP server, or networked printer. A copy of the produced content can be automatically stored to the Virtual Sales Center's Content Manager Module for future reference.

Content Manager Module

The Virtual Sales Center's Content Manager Module is a Java™-based, collaborative environment for developing and managing Sales & Marketing content (including the content components used by the Content Engine Module). The Content Manager Module enables your organization to:

  • Collaborate among geographically dispersed teams when developing and maintaining sales & marketing content
  • Continue to use your current word processing, data base, spreadsheet desk top publishing, and other software applications
  • Manage access control to sensitive material
  • Automate content version control and change history
  • Facilitate content review and editing
  • Project manage content development efforts including the creation of large, complex proposals

  • Keep content up-to-date and content development efforts on track through periodic or event-triggered notifications
  • Easily locate specific sales & marketing material through full text or attribute-based searches
  • View content in any file format without requiring the native application
  • Expedite the creation of new content, project plans, or repository structures through an easy-to-use drag and drop interface
